How Loom handles your data.
The short version: we collect your email (and name, if you reserve bottles) so we can tell you when Loom ships. We use one optional analytics cookie, only if you accept it. We never sell or rent your information.

Who we are
Loom is a fragrance-primer brand started in the incubator programme at Downers Grove North High School in Downers Grove, Illinois. Reach us at loomprimer@gmail.com or on Instagram at @loom.officiall.
What we collect
- Waitlist sign-ups: your email address, the date you joined and the page you joined from.
- Reservations: your name, email address, the products and quantities you reserved and any note you write. Reservations are not purchases; no payment details are collected on this site.
- Your bag: the items in your bag and your cookie choice are stored in your own browser. They never leave your device unless you submit a form.
- Analytics (optional): if you accept cookies we count page views with a privacy-focused tool. If you decline, nothing loads.
- Spam protection: forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Server logs: our host records standard request data (IP address, browser, time) for security.
How we use it
- To email you when the first batch ships, with early access and launch pricing.
- To honour your reservation and contact you about it.
- To run the refill programme — matching a returned bottle to the right person.
- To understand which parts of the site are useful and to protect it from abuse.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the site work: our hosting provider, the email service that sends our messages, the database where sign-ups are stored and — if you accept cookies — our analytics provider. Each processes data on our behalf. We disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
Waitlist and reservation details are kept until Loom launches and for as long as you stay subscribed, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is aggregated and not tied to your name.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom.
- Delete or update your details by emailing loomprimer@gmail.com. We confirm within 30 days.
- Cookies: change your choice any time from "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we remove the record.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, with a strict Content Security Policy and Subresource Integrity on third-party scripts. Form submissions go to our own server-side function, which holds every credential so none appear in your browser. Details are published in security.txt.
Changes
If this policy changes meaningfully we update the date above and, for anything significant, email the waitlist.
